"To put yourself into a situation where a mistake cannot necessarily be recouped, where the life you lose may be your own, clears the head wonderfully. It puts domestic problems back into proportion and adds an element of seriousness to your drab, routine life."

About Us!

Well look at you! You did it. You have managed to find/stumble upon this little slice of heaven that we like to call our website. So chances are you are either really bored, or you may actually know us and care about our adventures, maybe you are both bored and care about what we do. Either way we are thrilled that you showed up and we truly do hope you enjoy the site. Have fun and try not to break anything, otherwise Jason is going to have to fix it.

So for those of you who did just randomly happen upon our site, you probably are wondering just who are Tracy & Jason? Well first and foremost, we are outdoor adventurers. We do whatever we can to get ourselves outside as often as possible. We're not talking about opening the frontdoor and prancing around the neighborhood like sissy folk either. When we say outside, we mean outside all Bear Grylls style. Eating raw fish and grubs and choking it down with our own urine!!! Ok so we haven't actually drank our own urine...yet. Seriously though, we spend a great deal of time planning to prevent us from ever having to resort to such rediculously disgusting survival tactics. In any event, let's get back to it shall we?

We spend most of our free weekends and usually a couple of full weeks a year wandering the many trails in mainly the Northwest United States. Occasionaly we venture to other parts of the country, but usually those are only for the weeklong trips.

In addition to hiking/backpacking, we also love to ride our roadbikes, paddle our sea kayaks, run, and ski (both XC and downhill). We sometimes throw mountain biking into the mix as well, but not as often as we would like.

So there you have it. That's us in a nutshell. Have a look around and hopefully you will find something of interest, but if not check back regualarly as we are always adding new photos and fun adventures. With all that said, Enjoy!!!
